[News](https://www.payments.ca/insights/news-research?field_article_type=24) # “The Business of Payments” April program cancelled March 16, 2020 *Session cancellation will roll into planned Fall session in November.* **OTTAWA, March 16, 2020** - In response to the evolving COVID-19 developments, the Spring edition scheduled for April 19-22 of the Rotman’s School of Business program “*The Business of Payments”* has been cancelled. At this time, all registered participants will have the opportunity to be enrolled in the Fall session scheduled for November 22-25 at the Kingbridge Centre location. If you are a registered participant, you will be contacted by a representative from the Rotman School of Management directly to confirm your registration and availability for the Fall. This includes validation of registrant’s complimentary conference pass to [The SUMMIT,](https://www.thesummit.ca/) which will now take place in 2021. This program was developed by Payments Canada in partnership with the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Led by informed industry professionals, participants are presented with a universal viewpoint of payments by examining national and international payments systems, global trends and emerging forces that are shifting the ecosystem.
