[News](https://www.payments.ca/insights/news-research?field_article_type=24) # Payments Canada welcomes new and returning Stakeholder Advisory Council members April 1, 2025 Payments Canada welcomes two new and three returning members to its [Stakeholder Advisory Council](https://www.payments.ca/about/our-members-stakeholders/stakeholders) (SAC). SAC provides advice and counsel to Payments Canada’s leadership, employees and board of directors on key elements of the future of payments. The appointments took effect on April 1, 2025 and were reviewed and approved by the Payments Canada Board of Directors in consultation with the Minister of Finance. **New members:** - Raveen Sangha, Head of Canadian Payment Acceptance, Amazon - Tracy Lagasse, Vice President Sales, Client Experience and Payments Infrastructure for Financial Institutions, Dye & Durham **Returning members:** - Don Mercer, Advisor, Consumers Council of Canada - Daniela Aubry, Chief Payments Officer, Metrolinx - Josh Rowat, Head of North American Banking and Expansion, Wise Payments Canada’s stakeholders are organizations who rely on its payment systems but don’t participate in them directly. Members of the [Stakeholder Advisory Council](https://www.payments.ca/about/our-members-stakeholders/stakeholders) represent a wide array of experience, expertise and industries, including retail, consumer groups, government, fintech, technology, telecommunications, software and banking. They are also diverse in age, gender, skills and culture. Payments Canada would like to thank its outgoing council members for their many contributions. In her role, she is responsible for: Contributing to the development and execution of the long-term vision and strategy for payment acceptance for Amazon, developing a comprehensive payments acceptance product roadmap in Canada, leading Amazon's partnerships with Canada's largest financial institutions and key payment value chain players, driving key payment initiatives for Amazon in Canada, co-developing and executing Amazon's local payment public policy approach, and continuously striving to improve the payment experience for Amazon Canada's customers. Amazon’s prominent standing in the retail sector, as well as the importance of e-commerce to consumers, makes Raveen Sangha an ideal nominee for the SAC. Raveen Sangha’s dedication to the Canadian market will ensure relevant focus, expertise, and engagement level. **Tracy Lagasse, Vice President Sales, Client Experience, and Payments Infrastructure for Financial Institutions, Dye & Durham** Reporting directly to the CEO, Tracy Lagasse collaborates with financial service clients and product teams to inform Dye & Durham of opportunities and requirements. As the Vice President of Sales and Customer Engagement, her role puts her at the front line with customers. As payment services continue to evolve, ensuring continuity of services, inclusivity and reliability are priority for Tracy, who also plays an active role in the Canadian payment ecosystem, helping drive the innovation agenda for Canada's payment opportunities on a global stage. While not a direct renewal of term, Dye & Durham was previously on SAC with their most recent term ending in 2024, and Tracy was on SAC as recently as December 2024 in her former role with Microsoft. Based on her previous tenure, Tracy Lagasse will ensure a high level of engagement and contribution from Dye & Durham.
