# Sue Hutchison joins Payments Canada Executive Leadership Team

**OTTAWA, February 26 2018** – Payments Canada, the country’s financial market infrastructure for payments, today welcomed Sue Hutchison to its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Commercial Officer.

Ms. Hutchison joins Payments Canada following 20+ years’ experience at global financial institutions in retail and commercial banking and at one of Canada’s largest fintechs focused on digital payment technology. She also has extensive experience in strategic innovation and business transformation building market leading strategies and client delivery programs.

Previously, she held the positions of Group Head and Canada Country Manager at Finastra (formerly D+H). Prior to Finastra, she held Senior Vice President roles at HSBC and Bank of America.

“Sue joins us at a key juncture, as our Modernization program shifts into execution,” said Gerry Gaetz, President &amp; CEO of Payments Canada. “She brings deep industry knowledge and a strong passion for payments innovation and client experience that will benefit the program, our organization and industry participants.”
