Payments Canada has partnered with IBM Canada, CGI , Interac and Deloitte Canada to support the delivery and operation of the Real-Time Rail, a “made in Canada for Canada” payment system. As one team, we are building a real-time payment system to support innovation and the continued advancement of our economy, forward our global economic competitiveness and provide value to consumers and businesses.
The development and delivery of the Real-Time Rail is a collaborative effort across the payment ecosystem. Through formalized processes and regular interactions, we work with our member financial institutions, the federal government, the Bank of Canada, our national stakeholders and international counterparts to provide and improve the payment clearing and settlement systems in Canada.
The 2025 SUMMIT
