Cyrielle Chiron to lead Payments Canada research function

Payments Canada announced today the appointment of Cyrielle Chiron as Head, Research and Strategic Foresight, effective September 9, 2019.

Ms. Chiron joins Payments Canada from RFi Group, a financial intelligence and digital media provider, where she was responsible for all research initiatives, sales and operations across North and Latin America. Cyrielle brings a wealth of payments, retail and commercial financial services knowledge, as well as deep research experience. 

“Payments Canada's research team plays a pivotal role informing strategic objectives and supporting the navigation of Canada's industry-wide payments Modernization initiative,” said Anne Butler, Chief Legal Officer and VP of Policy and Research at Payments Canada. “Cyrielle's unique expertise and international perspective will support elevating our team's effort as we move into the execution phase of our program.”
