As Payments Canada’s Chief of Staff, Deana Djurdjevic is responsible for accelerating the organization’s long-term vision, ensuring complex initiatives are translated into clear, actionable outcomes. Serving as a key strategic advisor, Deana focuses on the alignment and sequencing of the 2030 Strategy, coordinating cross-organizational efforts to ensure the success of Payments Canada’s key commitments.

Deana brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial services and regulatory sectors, specializing in large-scale transformation and operational excellence. Most recently, she served as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). Her previous leadership tenures with the TMX Group and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) provide the senior judgment necessary to support the ongoing resilience and evolution of Canada’s payment ecosystem.
