Payments Canada names Stephan Orzechowski as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Business Transformation

Payments Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephan Orzechowski as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Business Transformation. Stephan will lead strategic vendor partnerships, business change management and end-to-end deployment strategies across Payments Canada’s payment platforms, ensuring participant readiness, vendor integration and seamless transitions for Canada’s critical payment infrastructure. 

Stephan brings over 25 years of progressive technology leadership and enterprise digital transformation experience. He joins Payments Canada from Accenture, where he served as Managing Director in the Canada Technology practice, overseeing complex, high-impact technology programs and multi-million-dollar client portfolios.

Stephan will champion cross-functional alignment within the organization, as well as with members, stakeholders and regulators. This work is critical to driving ecosystem readiness and ensuring seamless platform conversions across our systems. It also reinforces the organization’s vision to enable prosperity, productivity and safety for Canada through trusted, world-class payments.
