Payments Canada welcomes David Chance as chair of the Stakeholder Advisory Council

Payments Canada is pleased to welcome David Chance from Fiserv as chair of its Stakeholder Advisory Council.

David brings a diverse range of knowledge and expertise from across the payments landscape. As a leading payments innovator, he has led strategy, solutions and technology to drive payments innovation and modernization around the world. His global knowledge across all aspects of the payments landscape will help steer the Stakeholder Advisory Council through this important time as Payments Canada, along with countries around the world, modernizes its payments systems.

The Stakeholder Advisory Council (SAC) provides advice and counsel to Payments Canada’s management team and Board of Directors on key elements of the Modernization program and ongoing operations, including policies, proposed initiatives, and rules that affect payment system users and service providers. SAC includes representatives from consumer groups, retailers, corporations, governments, payments industry service providers and other key stakeholders.
